Introduction to the Trisat Full Travel Security Course (CPDUK)

, Welcome to the Trisat travel security full course. Millions of people, students or aid workers travel every year on business or for pleasure, sometimes to countries that may have a high risk of petty local crime and even terrorism. The UK Government (FCO) has developed the “Know Before You Go” (KBYG) programme to aid individuals or groups travelling abroad with their personal safety. Trisat Ltd, has partnered with CTR Secure Services Ltd (CTR) who is approved by the FCO to promote and enhance its guidance on travel security awareness.

The course is broken down into three easy modules that follow your journey from start to finish and focuses on best practices to enable you to have a safe and secure trip. The modules are as follows:

Travel Security – Before you Leave, Considers flight and travel requirements and travel advice as well as preparing documentation and luggage prior to travel.
Travel Security – At the Airport, How to increase your personal security awareness of travelling to the airport, at departures, during the flight and upon arrival.
Travel Security – At the hotel, How to remain safe in the hotel as well as out & about and transport.

Each module (that can be taken as individual short courses) will guide you through practical, effective steps for remaining safe, so that by the end of the course you will have an awareness of how unsafe situations may arise and how to best manage such situations, should they occur.
